We specialise in application work, with our Bateman highclearance sprayer and granular applicator, used mainly for applying avadex granules, pre emergence across a wide range of crops in both autumn and spring.
We also spread fertiliser using a Yara N sensor to automatically adjust application rates according to the Nitrogen already available in the crop.
For cultivation work we have a 4m Sumo Quattro pulled by our Quadtrac which can also broadcast oil seed rape seed with the Opico seeder unit mounted on it. This has proven to be a very successful establishment technique. Alternatively we have a Horsch FG cultivator for lighter soils and second passes following the Sumo on heavy ground. We follow this with our Horsch CO8 drill.
When the weather turns bad, we also have the plough and power harrow combination drill for a weatherproof reliable system of establishing crops.
When it comes to harvesting, we are able to offer a fast reliable service with our Claas Lexion 580 combine, fitted with yield mapping software. We are also able to look after all grain drying and handling requirements, including out loading of grain and unloading of all inputs.
